Muhammad Chaudhry is the Principal Lawyer of MIC Lawyers and specialises in migration and family law. Muhammad is both a member of the Law Society and also a member of the Criminal, Family and Civil division of the legal aid panel. Muhammad previously spent 10 years working for NSW Police and since his career change for defense law, has found exceptional success dealing with numerous significant and complex cases. Muhammad is a renowned lawyer well known for his contribution towards immigration and family law particularly, through his renowned advocacy skills and knowledge of the law, it has lead him being nationally recognised as a capable lawyer.
Muhammad has further appeared on behalf of high profile criminal clients including charges such as “Abduction”, “Grevious bodily harm with intent” and “Assault occassioning grevious bodily harm”. He regularly attends the Local, District, Supreme Court of NSW, and the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal. Muhammad further specialises in Apprehended Domestic Violence Order Applications, Parole hearings and NSW Crime Commission proceedings.
Muhammad was raised in Pakistan and is therefore heavily involved in the asian community in Australia. Alongside this demographic, Muhammad serves a large middle eastern clientele and has developed a respectable reputation in such communities. He speaks Urdu, Pashto, Arabic and Dari competently. Muhammad prides himself on providing accurate legal advice with the acknowledgement of each client’s factual circumstances.
